Book suggestions? I want more like this one!

I just finished the truly inspiring book AGE IS JUST A NUMBER by Dara Torres; bloody awesome!
After retiring a number of times from swimming, she came back at age 41 and won a pile of medals at the 2008 Olympics-proving that age is not a reason to slow down. I love this woman and her story.

And it's no wonder she won all those medals-check her out here-knee surgery didn't slow her down from still getting her workout in; legs no good-go upper body!

She is a wonderful inspiration for woman of all ages.

Now I want to find more books about inspiring female athletes; any suggestions?
Let me have 'em!
Ciao for now!

..... A bit of home grown inspiration right here Raechelle!!!! Nothing like a bit of self praise, but I'm recovering from knee surgery and I too am still training my upperbody.

I have been using my TRX and my bosu ball for workouts. Since I was 'allowed' I have also been using the pool - could not walk without two crutches on land but could only along in the pool.

I'm at the 7 week post op mark now and I am already on the spin bike, doing small squats, lunges, deep water running and still my paperboy work ( all with Physio approval) - beause I am determined to come out fighting on the other side of this big knee operation!

Congrats on the awesome enthusiasm for your next show! Sorry if this sounds like a rant all about me, but I'm proud of where I am at, following major surgery 7 weeks ago!
