BEFORE:
COMING ALONG NICELY:
I actually have 3 beds started; So far I've got mixed lettuce, fennel, beets, broccoli, tomatoes, chilli peppers, artichoke, cape gooseberries, blueberry, strawberry, tatsoi, a few herbs and marigolds planted in this enclosure. Still got more to plant, and waiting on lots of seeds to sprout. Also have beans, pumpkins and garlic in an outside bed (outside of the enclosure).
So far, we've been able to eat pumpkin off the property (leftover vines from previous owner)-and have used the leaves, flowers and stems in meals as well. Also, have been able to eat sweet potato and passion fruit-also leftover. Have added nasturtium leaves to salads-not getting too many flowers because I made the mistake of fertilizing and apparently you don't do that with nasturtiums if you want flowers. It's all a learning process and having fun doing it!
Ciao!

Wow! It's really great you can put energy into developing a beautiful garden to support your health and lifestyle. I'm not much of a gardener, but even if I were, I'd have a hard time finding my balcony here in Greece for all the street dirt and dust that covers it. Actually, my balcony back in Miami, wasn't much better! Hope you keep blogging. Like me, lots of folks need the motivation to get back to the gym across the street after a month hiatus... as I did yesterday. All the best! :)
LOVE IT!! Would love to be there and visit- looks amazing!
Nice article, thanks for the information.
