The Ab Roller Wheel

John and I just started getting into the ab wheel; though we don't actually have a real one yet-we just made one out of a tricep bar for now..I love it! I am still sore today (Thursday) from doing them on Monday..and that was on my knees. I included them in with my Tabata rounds-so I did heaps. Anyway, since we were just checking for other ab roller ideas on you tube..I found this awesome video of this 71 year old man doing like a hundred of them-and he's got the abs to prove it!

Here is again doing the advanced version from standing position...my next goal!

And this is the ultimate goal...one armed...dang!

My original sports masseuse believed in the ab roller. He was in his 60s and used his religiously. He was in great nick. I tried it once, long before I got into this sport, and almost killed myself. Couldn't move for days. LOL Good on you girl.

I know! Isn't it awesome! I hope to be doing that many when I'm his age....I sure as hell can't do that many right now...LOL!

We've been doing these in our guinea pig training program and the maximum strength as well.

They're a killer exercise and hurt like nothing else in this world. I feel your pain!

I have done these in the past but my gym no longer has the wheel.. or somebody stole it! I might have to buy my own!

HOLY CRAP on that video! I just might have to share that but when I do, I will link back here to say where I saw it!
