ARE YOU READY?

Wow! Christmas is basically here and next week the New Year…I can barely believe it!
I’m ready for it all! How about you?

It’s been a very…interesting year-to say the least.

We moved into our new property in May; had a major clean up-but came through with flying colours in the end. Have done lots of work outside, some inside renovations, new shed and of course the studio is now ready to rock and roll for the new year; we are really pleased with how it has turned out.

Came out (was pulled out!) of the alcohol closet which has ended up being the best thing to happen to me in ages. It was quite rough those first few weeks of September, but thanks to the support of family and friends-new and old, and of course John-it has all turned out very positive. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later-and I’m glad it’s done and out in the open and I can’t believe I have been able to change my mind set so much. I feel like I’ve completely reversed my desire for alcohol. I strongly urge anyone who THINKS they have a problem with alcohol-quit now-you can do it!

Christmas will be spent with friends-and will be my first social gathering since quitting the alcohol. I’m not worried. Fortunately they aren’t big drinkers-and as I said, I haven’t even had an urge; I feel really good about it. I feel super good about not drinking any more-better than I could have imagined!

2010 is going to be a year of pure fitness and health for me and John as we are finally getting our PT studio going which we have talked about for years. Plus I’m really entrenching myself into figure with three comps lined up; I’M SUPER STOKED!!! I am so ready for them! My body is right where I want it to be for comp prep-I chalk that up to consistency; I eat lots of good food, I don’t starve or deprive myself and I workout regularly. No secret formula, no calorie counting-just good common sense. And now, I’m going to say it again…sorry! With no alcohol in my system I am fitter than I have ever been. Yep-this is going to be a fabulously healthy year-I can feel it!

This year it's all about choices; I'm choosing to be healthy & happy.
