I am absolutely amped! Just on fire! Though my pec/shoulder ligament still bothers- I think I’ve finally figured out how to “manage” my pain problem-and so I am back in the game!
Everything feels right ATM.
I have stayed completely on track with my commitment to abstinence from alcohol, my nutrition is spot on, and my training is getting back to an acceptable level of umph!
I have had a couple of brief moments of “cravings” for the alcohol-but I recognized them straight away and shot them down! I am in control….are you?
Are you empowering yourself by saying NO to that craving-whatever it is? You can do it! I am doing it…so can YOU!
If all stays on track (pain wise) to the New Year, I will announce which comps I’m going for next year. I am so excited for 2010! How about you? Are you making plans for what you want to achieve next year? Now is the time! And don’t wait to start going for them—get off your bum and do it now! Why wait? CARPE DIEM!!!

Raechelle! You ARE on fire girl!! I am so proud of you, kicking ass and taking names! hey 2010 if going to be awesome!! Loving the recipes too!
Lets do this! :D
Hell yeah! High Five girl!
2010...BRING IT ON! PG and I have booked a Halloween SOBER CRUISE in Caribbean on the OASIS.
Summer is 75th Anniversary of AA...with International Convention in San Antonio in early July.
I'm hoping to take another scooter ride somewhere, somehow, sometime maybe during spring...
SO you see, you're not the only one making those plans--and I'm probably TWICE your age, girl!
I LOVE your 52 days sober...I in no way wish to discourage you, but rather encourage, and I'll save you a trip to my blog today: 13,000 days Oct 20 for me...no alcohol, no drugs.
But I KNOW I can go from Glitter-to-Gutter in five short days or less.
PEACE to you ALL.
Good for you Steve! that's right bring on the New Year!
oh-and-FYI-you are only 34 years older than me-not quite twice my age..heheheBut you are doing fab for 76! Stay strong!
I'm so proud of you and so happy for you, to see you BLOOMING - that's the only word I can think of- your life is starting to bloom as you're coming out of the "chains" of what alcohol did in your life. (Sounds Dr. Phil doesn't it? It's the only word that came to me LOL) I love you and support you and you inspire me! Thanks for your support and encouragement! XOXO
Awesome post chick. Well done with the attitude.
THANK YOU, Raechelle, I am slowly but surely finding my mojo after all the crap that's gone on in my life during the last 6 weeks or so.
This post is what I needed...you know what? Every time one of those sweet "treats" calls my name, I am going to think of you and say "no thanks", in fact I might start charting my days of sugar abstinence.
YOU ROCK Girl, you are soooo inspiring, and yeah I'm loving your recipes
(Sorry to ramble on here)
xxx
You're going great guns, well done. I can't imagine what it's like going through what you're going through but I admire your honesty and strength Raechelle. :o) xxx
