I'm researching this in order to decide whether or not I should spend the money and give it a go for my pec/shoulder problem.
Have you or anyone you know used it? Got results?
I'm really interested to know!
Cheers all!

Hey Raechelle,
I have used Bowen Therapy in the past following a major car accident, in which I fractured several vertebrae in my lower back. I was a bit skeptical at first as it didn't really feel like much but it definitely helped me with realignment and the release of pressure etc...
Hope it gets better soon xx
Hey Raechelle
I use Bowen therapy regularly (which reminds me I need to make an appointment for a tune-up).
As long as you find the right therapist for you, you should see results over time. You may need to initially go a bit more often until your body/muscles begin to respond to treatment. I liken it to 'retraining' your muscles to respond positively to stimuli. If you've had injuries (chronic or otherwise), your muscles will often need to be 'retrained and manipulated' to respond positively, so as to regain positive 'muscle memory'. This is what happened to me. I found bowen therapy help my muscles regain their previous muscle memory and to help it adjust and align with my new fitness goals.
Hope this hasn't confused you!
Let us know how you go.
Ciao for now...Kerry :)
I have used Bowen Therapy since my first pregnancy (9 years ago) and swear by it (but don't go often enough). My hubby also used it when he did his ankle at cricket a few years ago with great results.
My parents used to use Bowen therapy a few years ago until they moved and didn't have a therapist near the new place. They swore by it though!
Hilary xx
Thanks girls! I've made an appointment for this morning...crossing fingers of maybe finally finding something that works!
