
Anyone who has read my blog in the past six months (or even the past week!), knows that I truly desire and am working on building up my biceps.
So far, over the last couple of months, I have increased my bicep workout to twice a week....Mondays and Fridays. After doing a bit of research, I’m thinking that I’m not doing enough sets. Generally I had been sticking to 3 to 4 sets of everything. This has changed over the last couple of weeks to doing 4 to 5 sets....except for my biceps. Well, now that is going to change. I’m now working at 5 to 6 sets of 2 different exercises targeting the biceps......as well as 5 sets of the other targeted muscles. IE.
Monday: back, bis & tris...... 5 sets of each back & tri exercise.(2 to 3 each)..and 5-6 of 2 bicep exercises.
Friday: chest, shoulder & bis....again 5 sets of each chest & tri exercise with 5-6 sets of 2 bicep exercises.
Now, this will always open to change as I like to throw in a good super set here and there (especially for shoulders!)....but I’m really working on building healthy mass right now. I just think that’s what is needed to truly build up my biceps (and shoulders).
The other aspect is of course nutrition....so-with the increased sets, I will increase my protein intake as well.
So....right now I’m sitting on 28.5cm....11.25inches.....
Let the games begin!
Friday’s workout will be Chest, Shoulders & Bis....

Ha ha! I promise to stay lying down in the stripey top... that way they will be vertical stripes instead of horizontal OK? Might make the day harder to get through though... lying down an' all!
i likes your quest, me? im after bigger everything! lol. im finding that limiting my working sets to two intense (heavy!!) sets per exercise is working well atm, esp for arms. good luck!
yes, intensity seems to be the key Steph! and by the looks of your pics-it's doing the trick!
