Did You Know...

That by chopping your potato before boiling you lose about 50% of the potassium content?

I just recently learned this by reading....
I really like this magazine; it has so many little tidbits of information, I pretty much learn something new in each magazine!

Did legs today....back problem magically disappeared overnight-YAY! Funny how these things appear out of nowhere and suddenly disappear again-but I'm not complaining that it's gone-LOL!

I'm still obsessed with the one legged squats-

I love this move because it is so hard; but there is no way in hell I will ever get that low-my ankle just won't bend like that-I even put a big ol' plate under my foot...it just ain't happening. I do go as low as I can-and it's hard and I stick my hanging leg straight out and keep it as up as possible the whole time. I am up to 6 squats on each side for 4 sets.

What's your obsession? What move do you have that's truly difficult for you but you are doing it every week to try to get better?

Keep challenging yourself!

Push ups!

I've been weight training for over a year and my push ups have still been on the knees. No more!

I started doing push-up sets off the stairs...first weeks on the third step, then worked up to three sets on the second and now I'm on three sets of 10 off the bottom stair and soon to be moving to the floor. I took baby steps to get there but it's working.

Next: pull-ups!

Hey Rachaelle

Just started assisted chin-ups and can't wait for the day when I can do normal chin-ups on the bar!

Aaa ha! I do SOMETHING right! I almost never chop up the spuds, I always cook them in their skins. *sigh*
