LEGS-YEEHAW!




Had an absolutely brilliant leg workout today and I am feeling on top of the world! First thing this morning before I got out of bed I smiled to myself and said this is going to be a great day! And wow- Just slammed legs!

Warmed up with light extensions and seated leg curls.
Went straight to the hack squat machine for 3 sets of 12- Had not done these in a while but was inspired by LIA'S leg workout the other day-Thanks LIA!

I then attempted for the first time the one legged squat-without the weight...and let me tell you THESE ARE WONDERFULLY HARD! I can't wait to try them again. I couldn't even get down as far as that guy in the video and that was without weight! I did 2 sets of 5 on each leg-I WILL CONQUER THESE-WooHoo!

Then did 3 sets of 12 on leg press, 3 sets of 12 on the butt kick back machine, 3 sets of 12 standing dumbbell dead lifts, 3 sets of 12 on leg extensions, then 3 sets of 12 on the lying leg curl. Finished off with 20 minutes on the recumbent....I don't like to jog on leg day-no sense in over-fatiguing the legs!

I feel awesome-and yes, just like LIZ blogged recently, I am walking taller!

That is one of my favourite motivating pics, who wouldn't want to look like that honestly!! :) good work on smashing your legs, i love those one legged presses too superb for the bubble butt we want

Wow girl! Great leg workout! I am very impressed!!! In fact, I may be copying that and taking it to the gym for MY next leg workout! :)

You really are inspiring! Sounds like you really kicked butt with those one-legged squats. Can't wait to try them one day. And I am now really looking forward to starting my next program with the same zest and kick butt attitude!

I love hearing about when people have kick arse workouts. Keeps me going as I know one day I'll turn the corner and be having them too!

yes STEPH-Misty has awesome legs-and the whole package really! Oh-it's one legged squats-not presses-though one-legged presses are good too!

yeah KERRY-lookin' like that would make a gal smile all the time! And I'm glad you are inspired-now go kick some booty!

Had that feeling today Raechelle! I did RPM and gave it everything I had, then did my new chest/bis program and felt fantastic. Not the way I'd normally to it but it was about fitting things in today. And it actually felt awesome. Looking forward to my new legs program tomorrow. Gonna smash em as they say.
